Honesty and Experience,
Spurred on by Integrity
Jolene Stetson Linke, born in Kremmling, Colorado, has lived in Routt and Grand Counties all her life except when attending Baylor University, in Waco, TX, and after graduating from Baylor, attending Law School at CU, in Boulder. Jolene Stetson married Trey Linke in September, 1990. Since then, she has resided in Grand County full time. She registered in October, 1990 as a Republican, and worked for several years as a private attorney in Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado. Trey and Jolene are blessed with three children to whom Jolene richly devoted her time to in their early years, eventually giving up the law practice completely to focus on her family. The family ranch has been a wonderful place for family development, and her children have flourished. When the girls were in school, Jolene began teaching at the Winter Park Christian School in 2010, serving full time and/or part time until July, 2021.
She has volunteered with the Grand County Republican Party, and is honored to have served as the Secretary since 2013. She served as an Election Judge on a special election. Working with the local Republican Party has helped Jolene get to know all the elected officials, and their jobs, including the Clerk and Recorder, Sara Rosene, who works with all voters in all parties. Jolene wants to continue the excellent, efficient and transparent work Sara Rosene has done for thirty years. Integrity, availability, and opening the Driver’s License office again are her goals as the next County Clerk and Recorder.
